What is AFAE Membership?

At the core of AFAE is community building. To better serve our students, families, and community, we rolled out our AFAE Membership program in Spring 2026. As a member, there are exclusive clubs/events, lower costs for some of our club programming, and many other perks.

How Does The Membership Work?

We open up our applications early in the Spring of each year. We accept around 10 families into our membership program due to our commitment to building a tight-knit community and our volunteer pairing program, where we assign two volunteers per family/child. When you apply, there is an annual commitment fee of $100 to support our programming.

What Are The Perks Of Being A Member?

As our members, you get an easy sign up system via our WhatsApp/WeChat group where you simply have to reply to a message. Our other perks include, but not limited to:

• Skill Building Club (to develop skillsets that the child or family want to work on)

• Quarterly Family Meeting with a credentialed teacher (to update academic and social goals)

• Reduced fees for our other club events such as Cooking Club and Music Club

• Life-long community and connection with other families in Southern California
