AFAE Farm Project
Purpose & Vision
A working farm that doubles as an inclusive learning sanctuary, where children with special needs can thrive through hands-on, nature-based education. A space that offers non-traditional learning paths for youth and adults alike, teaching practical skills like gardening, cooking, sustainable living, and environmental stewardship. A community hub where healing and growth are rooted in the rhythms of the earth.
Our goal is to establish a year round farm and nature based school for students of all ages that centers on reconnection with Earth and inclusive learning.
Why an educational matters?
Children are all abilities often lack access to experiential, adaptive learning environments that places them in the natural world. We’re building one that celebrates their unique strengths.
Our community needs more inclusive, alternative educational spaces that connect people to land, wellness, and one another.

What will this Farm Project look like?
As a the project is ongoing, we have small goals/activities before reaching our ultimate purpose of creating the farm school:
Adopt a garden bed initiative along with garden open hours - families can support AFAE and practice small scale farming on our property
Adopt an animal initiative that allows local families to support us while learning animal husbandry
Seasonal Planting Parties that supports life-long community and connection with other families in Southern California

We Hope You Will Join Us Soon!
