AFAE Cooking Event

Students of all abilities can attend our first ever cooking event from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday 11/16/24. We will be hosting the event at our center at 1150 N Knollwood Cir, Anaheim. There will be volunteers there to support the students while they make their food. We ask for a small fee of 15 dollars during registration to cover the cost of materials during sign up. We cannot hold your spot if not fee are paid.

Students will learn:

• Basic handling of food and culinary skills

• Baking cupcakes

• Making Hwachae (korean fruit punch)

AFAE Clay Art Event

Students of all abilities from ages 5 and up can attend a 1 hour (11am to 12pm PST) clay making class at our Anaheim location. All events are capped at a small number of students. Small classes allows students with special needs to be supported. The events run from 11am to 12pm at the following dates:

Session 1: August 17th

Session 2: August 24th

Students will learn:

• Basic handling of clay

• Making an age appropriate clay project

• Fine motor skills

• Art basics and 3D object handling

Social Events

Our social events are events that aim to socialize students and families of all abilities. At our social events, we will have fun and enjoy some of our common interests. Seasonal Events

Our seasonal events are events that happen during specific holidays and celebrations to bring communities together. We celebrate and spread joy through unique programming (e.x.
